Grief is heavy. You don't have to carry it alone.

You might be here because you are currently rebuilding emotional strength gently, one breath at a time.

It might be that:
Something important has ended/changed in a way that has left a quiet ache inside.
A chapter has closed that you didn't expect.
A deep change has left you feeling fragile, disconnected and quietly shattered.

Your body is feeling...
Tight, achy and/or heavy. Your breath is shallow. You feel exhausted and fatigued. You carry a heaviness you can't quite name. Everything feels...difficult.

At Balancing Womanhood:
You are invited to feel fragile without having to be strong or explain.
Your body is nurtured with attuned touch that listens to what it has been quietly holding.

Helping you feel a little less weighed down, a little more held and resourced to take small steps forward.  No fixing. Just listening to your body.

What you can expect to feel after one session:
- a lighter body and a quieter mind
- a sense of being truly held
- small, gentle momentum toward feeling more like yourself again

Common questions I get asked:

Will I cry?
Possibly. Many women do. Tears often come quietly as a natural release. Other times no tears come, just deep sighs and warmth spreading throughout the body. Both are equally welcome, valid and healing.

Will it open a can of worms I'm not ready for?
I hear you and understand. I know you've been holding it all together for a long time. Because you've had to. What you need to know is that I follow your body's pace. No pushing. No digging. We meet emotions together gently if they surface. You are always in control. My role is to support you, not overwhelm you.

What if I feel nothing at all?
Some sessions are quiet and restorative. Healing doesn't always look dramatic. Whether or not you have an emotional reaction, your body will still soften and tension will ease. We are all different and each session can be too.

Here are some of the life events that my clients have experienced:
- The death of a loved one

- Pregnancy difficulties or loss
- The end of a marriage/long-term relationship
- The loss of a job/career identity
- The dream that didn't come to life

- Loss of a pet

- Illness or life changing diagnosis

- Parents of children with special needs

- Loss of a friendship

- Transitioning into a new life chapter
